Portrait: Friend and Nurse

This is Jen, she is a nurse and a friend of mine. We worked together a long time ago at Sears. Funny thing is we both got the same Sears sweater with the “pattern”; those that worked at Sears know exactly what I mean. Nonetheless, Jen came over and we made some portraits. This is one from the evening golden hour. She is facing right into the sun. I shot this with a vintage Russian Jupiter-11 lens. Let me tell you, the quality of this portrait is outstanding for a converted vintage Jupiter-11 to work on my modern Nikon DSLR. Everything is manual. I see me using this lens more and more because it’s got some lovely characteristics to it.
